This past weekend, the PIT Gymnastics teams competed with exceptional skill and determination at the Regionals, held from August 31st to September 1st. The event was a remarkable showcase of talent across Levels 3-7 in Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG), and our gymnasts truly made us proud with their impressive performances and stellar results.
A Fantastic Team Effort
The competition was fierce, but our Level 3 teams proved their mettle. The Level 3 Division 2 team secured a well-earned 3rd place in the All-Around, while the Level 3 Division 3 team excelled, clinching 2nd place. Our Level 4 Division 3 team also delivered a strong performance, coming in 3rd place overall. These results reflect the dedication and hard work of our gymnasts and coaches alike.
Outstanding Individual Achievements
The Level 5 Division 3 team delivered a truly exceptional performance, finishing 1st All-Around. It was an extraordinary sight to see our gymnasts dominate the podium, with several gymnasts securing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in the Individual All-Around category. This clean sweep in the division was a testament to their hard work and talent. Additionally, our Level 5 Division 2 girls shone brightly, medaling on Beam and in the All-Around competition.
Our Level 6 Division 2 gymnasts continued to impress, with standout performances both on individual apparatus and in the All-Around competition. They secured medals and demonstrated the depth of their skills and preparation.
A Triumphant Clean Sweep
The highlight of the weekend was our Level 6 Division 3 team, which achieved a clean sweep in the Individual All-Around and also medaling on various apparatus, once again proving their dominance in the division. This team also secured the 1st place in the team event.
Our Level 7 Division 2 team capped off the weekend with a fantastic performance, finishing 1st All-Around . The girls also achieving another clean sweep in the individual event and earning medals across different apparatus, solidifying their status as one of the top teams in the competition.
Celebrating Success
The Regionals were a tremendous success for PIT Gymnastics, marked by numerous podium finishes, clean sweeps, and individual accolades. The dedication and talent of our gymnasts were on full display, and it was thrilling to see so many of our athletes achieve such impressive results.
Congratulations to all our gymnasts for their outstanding performances, and a big thank you to our coaches, families, and supporters for their unwavering encouragement. Your support plays a crucial role in our success, and we look forward to many more achievements as we continue our journey through the gymnastics season.
